At Rosewood, we offer a number of classes on a weekly basis such as Yoga, Pilates, Laughter Yoga, Music Therapy, Meditation and Mindfulness, Baby Massage and Baby Yoga.

We do Candlelit yoga. The atmosphere is relaxing and soothing. Our classes are small in numbers which is nearly like a 1-1 tuition.  Yoga uses slow movements, breathing techniques and meditation. Yoga improves flexibility, builds strength, improves balance, supports joint health, prevents back pain, teaches better breathing and leads to mental calmness.

£10 a session or 6 session for £50

Pilates

We hold our pilates classes in a beautiful surrounding with soothing candles. Pilates is a stronger practice than Yoga. It can improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility, as well as relieving stress and tension,  A lot of athletes and dancers use Pilates to improve their core strength and therefore reduce risk of injury.   

£10 a session or 6 session for £50

Music Therapy

Music Therapy in Rosewood is so much fun for the participants. Music Therapy is used to address the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of a group or individual.it employs a variety of activities, such as listening to melodies, playing an instrument, drumming, writing songs and guided imagery.

Group therapy: £20 a session or 6 sessions for £100

1-1 therapy: £40 a session or 6 sessions for £20

Being mindful is maintaining a moment by moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle nurturing lens. When we practice mindfulness our thoughts tune into what we are sensing in the present moment rather than dwelling on the past or looking into the future.

£10 a session or 6 sessions for £50

Meditation

Meditation is really a mind and body practice. It increases calmness and physical relaxation, improving psychological balance, helps coping with illness, and enhancing overall health and wellbeing. The mind and body practices focus on the interactions among the brain, mind, body and behaviour.

Baby Yoga

Baby Yoga is the use of various poses and positions to promote baby’s general health. And wellbeing. The postures and positions used help to provide flexibility, beneficial stretching, improve muscle tone and coordination. Baby yoga is also great for constipation, everything is provided and the room is lovely and warm. Tea/Coffee is also provided.

Baby Massage

A wonderful treat for mother and baby. It is a beautiful way to express your love for your baby. It aids digestion, improves weight gain, improves circulation, eases teething pain and helps relieve constipation. This therapy also helps promote bonding the baby with mum and dad. Tea and coffee is also provided.

4 weeks at £40

Laughter Yoga

This is a fun class. It is a combination of laughter exercises with gentle breathing techniques to teach the body how to laugh without relying on jokes or humour.
